Andrew from Bless the A.M. reviews Gladkill

Overall Score4

Today’s guest post comes courtesy of our homie Andrew Krug, 1/2 of glitched-out-beautiful-bass-aficianodo’s Bless the A.M.  Keep your ears open for these Madison, Wisconsin audio-sculpters in 2015!

A pay-what-you-please self released album, ‘Neverafter’ by Gladkill was just released two days ago.  The first glance at these melodically chill 808 bass-driven episodes from this veteran producer was nothing short of what I had imagined.  Carefully sliced samples encumbered by swirling melodic melodies and basslines.  They take me back to why I fell in love with his sound in the first place.  This album explores new sonic territory, and at the same time takes you back to what you know and love from Gladkill.  Both long time lovers of his sound and all the new ears will be welcomed in on this sexy release.
